where confidence takes center stage

Jitterbug began with a simple idea: what if there was a place where kids could grow in their confidence and creativity in equal measure — where their experience wasn’t an afterthought, but the entire point?

From those early days of neighborhood classes to the buzzing studio vibes, Jitterbug Performing Arts has remained true to its mission to build confident world changers through the power of connection.

Since 2011, Jitterbug has been a vibrant space that has welcomed thousands of families into our community. Through state lights and piano lessons, dress-up closets and dance parties, we’ve seen magic unfold. Not because of any one program or performance — but because when kids are truly connected and empowered, they shine in ways that last a lifetime.

Jitterbug has always been more than classes and costumes — it’s a place where kids build the kind of confidence that shows up everywhere: in classrooms, on playgrounds, at family dinners, and years later, in interviews and relationships. The lessons learned here — how to speak up, take a bow, try something new, or cheer on a friend — become part of who they are.

We’ve seen toddlers become teenagers, siblings find their spotlight, and former students return to teach the next generation. It’s a full-circle kind of magic that only happens when a space is built with heart and held with intention. As we continue growing, we remain rooted in the belief that performing arts can be a powerful vehicle for shaping kind, confident, connected humans — and we’re endlessly grateful to the families who’ve trusted us with their children along the way.
