What are your camp hours?
We offer two options for camp:
Primary Camp 9:00am-1:00pm or Production Camp 9:00am-4:00pm
Before and aftercare is available, 8:00am - 6:00pm
Carpool begins at 8:50am each morning.
What is the camper/staff ratio:
No more than 12 children with 1 - 3 teachers in a class.
What qualifications does your staff have?
Along with having an education background, all Jitterbug staff members are trained in theatre, music and/or dance, and even perform in Atlanta professionally. Extensive background checks are performed on staff members.
Will my child eat lunch at camp?
Yes, please send them with a sack lunch, water and snack. We will have a snack time mid morning and lunch time around noon. If your Jitterbug stays for production, please send an extra snack.
What will my child do at camp?
Each day or week ends with a performance. Throughout the day/week, Jitterbugs are working on songs, dances, possibly skits or puppet shows, movies and more for their performance. Camp curriculum includes singing, dancing, acting games & improvisations, costume making, prop creation, set dressing and of course, tons and tons of fun! Our nurturing atmosphere allows children's confidence to grow and provides an outlet for children who already perform all day every day!
Will my child get to bring anything home from camp?
Yes!! Each week, children make their own costumes! Campers will also be creating any props or scenery needed for the theme and will be able to bring those home as well!

What happens if my child gets sick and is unable to attend camp?
We understand that unexpected illness can occur, we want your child to recover as quickly as possible. Jitterbug does not offer refunds. As long as you let the studio know within 24-48 hours for extreme illness, you will receive credit to your jitterbug account. You may use it for any future camps, classes and/or events.
What does it mean when I am waitlisted?
Registration is full; however, in the event of a cancellation your family will be notified and offered the available spot. No payment is run until you receive a call removing you from the waitlist.
What happens when my child can no longer attend camp?
Camps at Jitterbug are extremely popular, and sell out quickly! If your child is for some reason to attend their day/week of camp, you must notify the studio within 48-72 hours. Jitterbug does not offer refunds. You will receive credit to your jitterbug account. You may use it for any future camps, classes and/or events.
Does my child need to attend the full week of camp?
Yes!! Campers work all week to create a show to debut Friday afternoon. If they are going to miss more than one day of camp, they will miss out on valuable prop building, song and dance instruction and costume creation. Theatre is a team effort.

Showtimes are 12:30, 1:00 and 3:45 depending on your child's class.
