Wow, what exciting progress we have seen this week! These Broadway Bound Bugs are sure to grace a New York City marquee one day!!
Broadway Bound at the Main Studio
Ms. Emily's class have been such hard workers that they added on a FOURTH song to their show!! These budding professionals spent time perfecting each song, focusing on characterization and synchronizing their impressive dance steps. During craft time, they completed the first step of their costume design process - paint and dye! For an added challenge, Ms. Emily taught them a coordination game to keep them on their toes!
Ms. Rhianna's class discussed what it means to be a celebrity, and had a taste of stardom themselves by creating their very own Walk of Fame handprints! Today, they ran through all of their songs, and spent additional time practicing all of their lyrics. These little performers even learned a new tricky dance move called the criss cross! They are stepping up to the plate and shining bright!!
Production Camp at the Main Studio
Mr. Topher's class is delivering tremendous commitment to every single dance move! As you can see below, they are each presenting wonderful angles, facial expressions, and exuding confidence!! They learned their choreography and lyrics to "I've Got Rhythm" and began painting their Broadway sign! This three component set piece (and our multi-talented performers) will be front and center on Friday!
Tomorrow is our final day before the performances! Our dedicated thespians will be collaborating with each other to refine their amazing shows! Stay tuned!!
