Another week begins! We are repping major girl power at Jitterbug this time around, with all-female students! We know their sugar, spice, and everything nice will produce graceful and inspired performances this week!!
Fairy Tale Camp at the Main Studio
Ms. Kristen's class had a wonderful start to the week! They learned choreography and lyrics to two of their songs, "Love Is An Open Door" and "How Far I'll Go"! These sweet girls were so excited to perform and had a ball! In their dances, they practiced partner dancing, and incorporated some distinctive ways to dance like a princess: twirls, waves, and curtsies included! They even made adorable mice from paper plates - what an engaging and delightful day!!
Ms. Rhianna's class began this week in true princess fashion, with poise, grace, and immense love of music! They worked on their lyrics and choreography to "Just Around the River Bend" and "Almost There"! This class already knew all of the words, we were so impressed!! For craft time, they created beautiful paper lanterns that will be hung up on the stage for our show on Friday. These ladies learned a new game, called "Duck and Cow", that enhances teamwork, listening skills, and mental endurance. We can't wait to see what this magical group creates this week!!
Production Camp at the Main Studio
Mr. Topher's class spent this afternoon getting their lyrics and dance moves down for "A Whole New World". They created glamorous golden ballroom bracelets which will be utilized as costumes accessories for their show! This group stays the full day, and they learned some dynamic new focus games, as well as enjoying some energizing freeze dances! We know this hyped up group will keep our studio buzzing with creativity all week long!!
Tomorrow, we will check in on the status of each group's rehearsal processes, AND we will be announcing their class names! If our previous weeks are any indication, they are sure to be on theme and beyond innovative. Stay tuned!!
